This painting is one I used as a color study for the large painting 'Summer Flows'.  Both are on display at the Palm Desert Community Gallery.  I've grown to like this one very much for the Monet-like color and mood!

A dream . . .

a large expanse of tropical-hued, warm waters of the ocean

stretching to the horizon . . . I can imagine the

beautiful fish swimming beneath the sinuating surface of the ocean . . .

warm sand between my toes .

a painting reminiscent of the Central Coast of California  . . . glowing valleys leading to the brilliant coastal horizon at sunset.  I used to bicycle down Price Canyon Road, from Arroyo Grande into Pismo Beach so this painting is based on past memories and experiences.
