Paradise Lost I by Nancy Goldman

Paradise Lost I
Image Size 21" x 21"
Watercolor

This is the first painting in a series of five that I painted as a statement about Orange County and how we have lost our namesake orange groves to the mass housing market. I will post the others soon. I have described this painting in more detail on my blog here.

  1. Great piece! I grew up in Orange County (won't say when!)and witnessed exactly what you're talking about. The orange blossoms smelled incredible in the evening. There used to be a lot of strawberry fields, too.
