The clouds were moving in, the wind was rising, and the sun played hide-and seek along Lake Tahoe. This view from Zephyr Cove is one of my favorites in the region, looking across the lake into the wonderful Sierra where I've spent many summer days hiking. There is nothing like a winter day painting, and this is my effort to capture a bit of this amazing landscape!
You captured the moving clouds very well. Have been in the South Lake Tahoe area just around christmas time and could relate to this painting very well.
